March is Shoulder month For Gas ,one where you would expect very tame price movement.Not the case so far this week as Gas trading +7% so far today and closed higher yesterday 4%.Weather not a concern so what is driving price higher? I believe that the Oil price war if sustained will curtail fracking and as a result less Nat Gas production. lets take a look at the nat gas- Crude oil spread,which is the top graph ,the bottom graph is the 20 day correlation between the two products, cant have much of a spread if the two products are highly correlated. Recall a near record amount of Nat Gas shorts
